COMMUNITY SAFETY PROGRAMS

 

The Council along with the Hamilton Police and Fire Department sponsors the “Safety Town” program for 4 and 5 year olds during the summer months at “Safety Town Village”. 115 Williams Ave. Hamilton, Ohio

 

 

 

 

We are expanding our Safety Town Program in 2021.  One week will be added, July 19th-23rd.  for 6-8 year olds.  Your child will be instructed by Hamilton Police Officer, Kristy Collins and other professional personal from                                              the Hamilton Police and  Fire Department in areas such as Internet Safety,                                                peer pressure/bullying, drugs, CPR, fire safety, stranger danger, gun safety                                              and bike safety. 

 

                                       

 

Safety Town for 4-5 year olds, Available spots as of May 4, 2021

 

Week 1 June 14-18th has filled up.

 

Week 2 June 21-25th has filled up

 

Available spots still left in weeks 3, 4, and 5.

 

Week 3 June 28-July 2nd. has 12 spots available 

 

Week 4 July 5th-9th  has 17 spots available

 

Week 5 July 12th-16th has 12 spots available

 

 

The week of July 19th-23rd only for 6-8 year old's has filled up for this summer.

Mock Crashes are offered to all area High Schools during Prom time to reach young people about drinking and driving.

 

 

The Council also sponsors free annual car seat inspections for families who transport small children.
